Dr. Paul Francis Palumbo, MD

I took my 13 year old daughter to Dr. Palumbo approximately one year ago. She had very bad acne and was really starting to bother her. After waiting about 3 months to get our 1st appointment we arrived. The wait time was only 15 min. Dr. Palumbo seemed very knowledgable and made this sound like no problem. He then put her on an oral antibiotic and 5 different creams, lotions, gels. We went home very excited. 3 months later the next appointment we had no results at all. Another 2 monthe and we have changed oral antibiotics 3 times still no help. Next appointment we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes past our time. He proceeded to rush us right through and changed nothing (still no change in her acne). Just went back again today. Again took time off from work (he only works on Mondays) took my daughter out of basketball practice rushed up to his office(40 min. from home) for our 4:30 appointment with an indoor soccer game for her to be at at 6:30. Again sat and waited for 25 minutes (watching… another upset man who had already waited 1 hour) when the receptionist told us it would be probably another 20 minutes or so. He had not taken in the appointment before us yet. At this point we left and are going to a new derm. in Fayetteville. I would not recommend this Dr. to anyone. To sum it up many appointments where we had to wait at least 2 to 3 months to get an appointment and then also have to wait extended periods after you have your appointment!!To finish it all up My poor daughters acne is not one bit better. This is the worst Dr. experience I have ever had.

Doc Palumbo knows I am allergic to just about everything, he knows that I have to be very careful as I can have a serious reaction. He takes the time to discuss with me if needed, medications,ointments,solutions and whats in them and what not to do. I fully trust this Doctor with my issues and enjoy our visits. He has a humor side to him, and willing to listen. I refer him quite often
