Dr. Paul Williamson Pierce, MD

Dr. Pierce is awesome! He has a wonderful personality and really puts you at ease. He is knowledgeable and confident. He explains things in an understandable way. He is always great with my small child when she accompanies me--he LOVES kids and they love him too!

Several times I had appointments and was called the day before my appointment and told that he could not see me, but a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant or something could---or I could reschedule my visit. After the 3rd time, I just stopped trying to see him.

Dr Pierce is a kind caring physician who is an excellent cardiologist. But the hospital he uses (river regions in vicksburg) is in my opinion lacking in meeting generally accepted hospital standards of care, I did not care for the "hospitalists" who were in charge of my care on a daily basis nor again in my opinion The lack of adherence to sanitary practices, attitude, lack of knowledge, and lack of efficiency of the hospital staff , is the responsibility of the hospital administration and in my opinion they failed miserably in carrying out their duties in order to ensure quality ccare for all the patients at River Regions Hospital. Dr Pieerce's only flaw is that he has chosen to practice in this hospital.

I was treated by Dr Pierce after being admitted through the ER. Follow up testing required a catherization and a stent. I knew that I was in good hands and he explained everything thoroughly.

Focused, but very conversational and not in a hurry. Great depth of knowledge and willingness to share that knowledge.

Dr. Paul Pierce IV is a very caring doctor. He treats all patients as though they were a part of his family. Take time to answer all questions. Very good with follow up appointments. Office staff also very nice and professional.

Dr. Paul Pierce is the best!!!!
