Dr. Edney is not who he appears to be. He is involved in healthcare fraud and embezzlement. He hides behind his businesses, sober living houses and the church. He finds men down on their luck and takes advantage of them. These men work in Edney's businesses and then he takes their check. In addition, he prescribes them medicine and then forces them to sell it. I know of someone who refused his requests and was then thrown out on the street. The man's insurance was then billed for over $11,000. He is an evil man. Please beware.

I’m disappointed in the fact that my husband has an addiction problem that I informed his staff about and instead of an intervention, he was prescribed MORE of what he is abusing. I don’t understand that at all!!

This doctor has been my parents doctor for many years. But as of last 10 years hard to get in touch with. Does not make good decisions, and rarely see him. Has not seen my father since last summer. Had appointment recently for follow up from stroke, we were called and said they were overbooked and my father could see NP. She just about falls asleep most of time and almost gave my my medicine that should not be given together, my mom ask her and she oh yes you are correct. When go and try to tell serious problem, says they can take care of problem, my parents usually wind up in hospital in next day or so. Then if you get to hospital, he will not come to River Region, has another doctor take over, the one we had until this last time sent my mom home only to have stroke next day, dad only kept over night with GI bleed, hat to have two units of blood few days later. NEED NEW DOCTOR!

I find it disturbing that this doctor actively fights against legislation that makes the doctor's decision valid in the eyes of our state! Our state is the only state in the entire country that allows the Department of Health to override a doctor's medical decision. Did our doctors not go through the same medical licensing procedure as the rest of the country? Are you stating that you do not have the capability to make such decisions without the approval of the MSDOH??
