Dr. Paul Kenneth Pietrow, MD

He misdiagnosed my mom problem and wanted to extensive surgery that was not need and could have been done in a less complicated way.

I saw Paul Pietrow for several years, the same complaint pain, but then it got worse with additional symptoms later during my association while seeing him. In my opinion, he could have more for me ( testing, scans, blood work ) - he did none of these tests on me. He only did an urine test and another simple in office exam. In my opinion if he had been more proactive and did other tests, the serious condition that finally was discovered by someone else might have been detected and treated sooner. I write this out of concern for others that might benefit from the horrible experience I had when I was his patient. That lesson to be learned is - you should listen to your body and seek out a second and maybe third opinion. If your body is telling you something ( pain ) listen to it, don't just take the word from one person.

We took our developmentally disabled daughter to see Dr. Pietrow for frequent urination. He ordered tests & found that nothing was wrong with urinary tract but she had a huge gall stone. Not only was the doctor caring, his staff went out of their way to fit her in for testing so we didn’t have to make another trip. Very accomodating!

Dr. Pietro made my kidney surgery easy from diagnoses to surgery and recovery.

I have total confidence in Dr.Piewtro. He listens to your questions and satisfies you with his answers.. He makes you feel at ease and comfortable.

After calling and hearing it would be a 9 min wait I waited on the phone for 15 mins only to keep being told by the computer generated voice it will be a 9 min wait. After 15 mins it went to an 8 min wait. I gave up. I just wanted to find out if they excepted my insurance and if I could make an appointment. Guess I'll look else were.

lack of compassion LACK OF COMPASSION I suffer from a chronic condition that causes blockage in the urethra had been seeing pietrow for over a year when I needed the blocked to be opened through a dialation procedure. it took 3 weeks to get the first appt.while I was in severe pain and an additional 3 weeks before the procedure, during this time I had to press on my lower pelvis to empty the bladder while having severe back pain the day of the dilation I received no pain medication except for external lanacaine and a metal probe is inserted to open the blockage this procedure can be done in the hospital using the colonoscopy drug propofal but pietrow decided not to use it I came home and cried for days from the pain and then infection he has never once returned my phone call do not use him for your urologist I am now with someone who has compassion with this condition and the procedure is done in the hospital under a sedative

My experience with Dr. Pietrow had been extremely positive. He is a friendly man and seems very knowledgeable in his field. He explained things to me so I could understand them, and his staff is very reassuring, professional, and courteous. I had to have a cystoscopy, a procedure which can be daunting to those who have never had one. The nurse was so polite and caring that she relieved my anxiety. The doctor, technition, and nurse were all so good that it could not have been easier on me, the patient. The healing process after procedure was quick with some pain, but minimal, I feel, for the procedure.

Tops in the area. Total experience was very positive. Dr Pietrow was a pleasure to work with. He is a caring person who listens, spends whatever time it takes to do his job and does it very well. Would recommend him to others if asked.
