Paul Putterman, MD

Dr. Putterman has nearly three decades of experience in vein care, during which he has performed thousands of minimally invasive outpatient procedures to treat the symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency. Board-certified by the American Board of Phlebology, Dr. Putterman received his initial hands-on training at a dedicated vein center before establishing his own clinic in 1998. He finds deep satisfaction in helping patients regain their quality of life through advanced, minimally invasive treatments, particularly for those who struggled with leg pain for years before discovering the life-changing benefits of vein care.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Following his medical education, Dr. Putterman completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Carolinas Medical Center, now known as Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. He is also a founding Senior Partner of Matthews Children's Clinic in Charlotte, …North Carolina.
