Waited 3 months to see MD and 3 months post myelogram after which I was promised neck surgery. After 6 mos of waiting, refused surgery despite all indications of cervical radiculopathy. Terrible, cruel, please do not go. PS - You do not get to see the MD.

I think Dr. Santiago is great but we keep getting pushed off for a variety of reasons with no explanation. It is horrible to try to get a call back. My surgery has been cancelled twice. This is to the point of being cruel to the patient.

4 years ago I met Dr. Santiago as I lay on a gurney, dying. I am alive, working, walking, gardening, swimming, doing yoga, running after grandchildren, spending time with family and friends due to his immediate actions and medical knowledge. He has a superb bedside manner, excellent staff, on time appointments, he speaks to the person in front of him-the patient, takes his time to make sure you understand what he is telling you and treats your family as well as he treats his patients. I have an old appointment card of his sitting on my desk at work-it reminds me each day of his gifted abilities as a doctor and the day 4 years ago I met him.

Dr. Santiago and is staff are top notch professionals that care. I always feel I am getting the best of care when I see Dr. Santiago or any of his staff and would recommend him to anyone in need of a Neurological Surgeon

Breaking my neck was one of the most difficult experiences of my life. My family and I were so impressed with the way he explained the condition and options as well as his competence that it made the whole experience so much easier to deal with. His office staff and nurse are awesome!

Dr. Santiago is a wonderful man. He is a very happy, outgoing person who made me feel like I was important. His abilities are incredible. I broke my neck in an accident. In his care I was able to recover so quickly. The surgery scars are next to nothing. When I get to see him, I feel like a little girl seeing Santa. I thank God, for putting me in such wonderful hands.

No follow up. Slow referrals. No explanations when results are not as expected. Just what a patient does not want in a doctor
