Dr. Terrence Joseph Ryan, MD

Dr. Ryan is my life saver. He is very patient and understanding as well as very knowledgeable about my condition. I have pseudotumor cerebri and had a shunt placed. He saved my vision. I totally recommend Dr. Ryan for brain surgery. He is the best on Columbia probably everywhere else as well.

Dr. Ryan is a great neurosurgeon. When I finally decided to have surgery Dr. Ryan took care to make sure I knew all of the possible risk's and positive sides. After the surgery was over he was there when I started coming to in recovery. I would recommend Dr. Ryan to anybody.

This man tells you like it is explains it all shows you on the MRI or the CAT scan or any other films what's going on and what needs to be done & what his approach may be best upon what he runs into and is very understanding after dealing with many neurosurgeons I found him to be the most knowledgeable and the most expeditious with time and his staff Is A+

Dr. Ryan is an amazing neurosurgeon, with a caring and loving heart, with a skilled and dedicated profession, with a patient and understanding attitude. Our family is so appreciative of his beautiful work on removing a very LARGE brain tumor. Dr. Ryan made an urgent appointment with us on the same day the tumor was found and admitted us to the hospital the same day. Very quickly Dr. Ryan got all tests and physical checkup ordered and cleared, and he arranged a whole day a day later and a surgery requiring over 10 hours and a team of anesthesia doctors was successfully performed. During the hospital stay, Dr. Ryan came to visit twice a day and answered all and any questions we had. We thank Dr. Ryan and his stuff, and would definitely recommend Dr. Ryan to anyone in need.

Dr. Terry Ryan is an awesome neurosurgeon. He is likeable, unpretentious and caring as well as a skillful surgeon. However his office staff leaves alot to be desired. They improperally coded my surgery and left me holding the bag with a huge amount owed when in reality I should NOT have owed a cent. I would highly rec Dr. Ryan but be sure that the office staff is ON TASK in their coding and billing of your claim with your insurance company as wel las medicare.
