Went on an extremely long ramble about American health insurance and how the US gives a lot of free MRIs. Leading to bad results Tbf he looks really stressed out

He was rude, arrogant and disrespectful. It was obvious he had preconceived notions that I was drug seeking, which is strange since the first thing I said was that I was not wanting narcotics or any scheduled medications. His notes were not accurate including documenting a physical exam despite him never touching me as well as him discussing things with me that never happened. I am sure Medicare paid him for a physical exam. Total waste of time for me.

Saw him at Kaiser in the spine clinic to consult after spine MRI for pain. During the course of the exam he oddly was increasingly rude and arrogant. When I had a chance to interject to ask a question he would patronizingly tell me how he was about to answer that but I had interrupted him. I apologized and he said no worries, then launched into a discussion about how it's okay for me to be wrong for a long time, then launched back into more rambling. What an odd visit. He seems to specialize in pushing buttons. Why go through this as a patient? There are so many other doctors to choose from. I wish I had seen this web site and could have looked him up earlier. There are better people to see. It's better if the visit can include respect from both patient and doctor. I told him I had to leave early. I will never see this doctor again, even if it were lifesaving.

Awful man

Very personable. Very willing to spend the time to (fully) explain the scans/test results. And very willing to proceed with appropriate treatment.

I recently saw Dr. Sueno about the chronic pain in my lower back. He asked some questions about my back and took my history. I told him that I was having hip pain and was trying to figure out if the pain in my hips were related to the back. He snapped back at me saying "you have chronic pain in your back and I looked through your files what do you want me to do for you?" Well I said I'm trying to figure that out. He says "Well patients come and tell me this and I recommend things and find out people do what they want.' I said "I don't care about your other patients, I'm here about me. Do you think I should have a new MRI"? He says" What good will that do, I can read your last MRI and tell you what is wrong, besides the cost of a MRI is about 3,000 dollars and if you want to pull out your visa card and pay that, I don't think so." I said "you don't have a good bedside manner do you? He says "I hear this from patients and say well this is me." Well with his abrupt tone and manners I… will not be going back to him. There are Doctors who you can talk with that show they care and than there is Dr. Sueno who shows how much of a jerk he is.

This doctor was the worst dotocr I’ve ever seen. Zero respect and zero help. No sure how this rude man can get a doctor certification — it is completely a joke! We described our problems, which he completely ignored and told us his knowledge and experience was better than what we knew about ourselves. If you are under Kaiser Permanente insurance, please do never schedule with this rude “doctor” :(

I saw him 2 times. He was arrogent and rude. And he didnt even know what was wrong with me...evidently didnt look at my MRI before my appointment. Never before have I ever had a "doctor" speak horribly about "real" doctors. He said one over medicated me and said the other one didn't know what he was doing and lied to me. These Drs I've had for 5 yrs and they're the best. Never will go back to him. But got message hes closing his practice..no loss.

Dr. Sueno took my appt knowing what coverage I had. He actually said "Well, I could help you, but it isn't worth my time with your coverage. Get cash or better insurance, then call back. This isn't worth my time unless you can pay or get a lot better plan" Why even waste MY time coming in when he knew my coverage situation? Unreal. Clasic case of a "Dr" who cares ONLY about money. His patients are nothing more than chattel.

This Dr is one of the most arrogant , rude people I have ever run across. He cuts you off when you try to tell him what is going on with you. Pushes for injections, had the nerve to say " Americans can't take pain like people in other countries " I am looking for another pain clinic that will accept my insurance. He has all the reports and told me from my cervical spine all the way to the lumbar spine has arthritis as well as disc issues, but I should be able to " suck it up "
