Dr. Paul Thomas Sutera, MD

I have seen 2 of the Np's and have always been treated with care. Call in for prescriptions every 4 weeks and they are always at the pharmacy before the due date. Only problem is, make sure you have the right pharmacy, because they only allow pharmacy to be changed once every 6 months.

Every month I have anxiety attacks when it's time to call in for pain meds renewal preauthorization.in 10 months has the prescription been sent to pharmacy when it was supposed to have been. I ALWAYS have to call Dr Sutera's office at least one additional time. Also, last summer, my insurance denied my claim for pain meds because Dr Sutera's office REPEATEDLY ignored emails and phone calls from the insurance co for preauthorization.

Saw Nina today. Total 100% turn around. She listened to me and understood.Thank you Nina for excellent care an excellent bed side manner.

I was referred to Dr Sutra by one of my Dr. I called for information was transferred to another party. No one ever answered the phone. I waited at least 15 minutes. Dr, your reviews are terrible. I am not a client and never will be. If I can't get through now, what will you do to me as a client.

The office staff sucks. Never call back and can never get thru to anyone. Always there at least 2 hours

Front office staff are inept. Was supposed to have a prescription phoned in to a local pharmacy and they never phoned it in even after I called them twice to let them know the pharmacy had not received the prescription. Had to go without the meds.

Been seeing someone, never the same provider twice in Sutera's office... NO provider at this office is a Certified Pain Specialists. Office staff is rude and provide false and misleading information to patients. When I asked if Dr Sutera was a Certified Pain Specialists I got a 4 word reply, "no he is not" They're even rude in emails...

Trying to get this Doctor to do what is necessary,so you can move on with your life is next to impossible,its all about the insurance.

Nina Chase the assistant was nasty rude and arrogant, says patients have to come every 2 weeks for meds because pharmacists don't want to fill a month at a time, others were told a xray was missing so they have to return in 2 weeks. All she did was rant about how the management in Sutera's office is the problem and how arizona has a crisis. Nothing was resolved, condition not asked about and ranted and raved about everything but the main issue that is treating a pain condition. She would not allow any questions and her answer to any questions that I did slip in were met with I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT??? I feel bad for Sutera that he has no idea what this poorly educated wannabe dr is driving his patients away. Hands down worst health provider I have ever come across in my years. Wrong choice for pain management
