Dr. Paul Edward Wylie, MD

Dr. Wylie is an expert in Sleep Medicine. He cares about his patients and is the one of the most dedicated and knowledgeable in the entire South. He is recognized as the go to person dealing with sleep apnea. He also does extensive research on the subject. In addition, he has an outstanding tract record in treating psychiatric conditions. One of the top mental health experts in Arkansas. His specialty is treating younger patients.

Paul Wylie does not deserve to have the MD following his name. I scheduled an appointment with the notice that I was about to run out of my medicine- he had his nurse cancel on me that morning and attempted to reschedule for three weeks later [fully knowledgable that I am out of medicine at this point]. I told the nurse that I would see another doctor at a sooner date- I find an older prescription that Paul wrote for me that had expired and tried to get him to re-write it and his nurse said he would not because I had scheduled an appt with another doctor. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. I would NEVER advise ANYONE to see Paul Wylie for ANY reason. He has cost me hours of my time that should be spent helping my clients. Instead I have been all over town trying to get a prescription refilled on multiple dates.

Does not remember to call your meds in, staff doesn't write down canceled appts. charges high. hard to get a hold of staff. miss Dr. Sieler

Staff is friendly and helpful.Never experienced any problems in the 3 years I have been a patient. He is knowledgeable about sleep medicine, has great technicians and takes the time to explain things. Follow ups can be a pain but at least he follows his patients and cares about compliance to treatment.

Did not allow time to elaborate and made comments of the possibility of many causes leaving me more perplexed than before.

I have been seeing Dr Wylie for over 5 years now, and have never experienced any of the problems others are describing. The staff has always been friendly, they are always on time (I've never had to wait past my appointment time), and Dr Wylie is always more than willing to spend however much time you need discussing issues. I live over 35 miles away, and there are many sleep doctors who are closer to where I live, but I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I've been to multiple sleep physicians in multiple states due to moving for job requirements. Nobody comes close to this doc for knowledge about sleep and the quality of his interactions with me. His office runs on time and he doesn't keep you waiting if you are on time and the person before you is late. You get seen on time and they get to reschedule, I've seen it firsthand. I get to see a doctor, not a nurse practitioner which I've had experience with as well.

I was once 5 minutes late to my scheduled appointment. Accustomed to the clinic's long wait times from two prior appointments, I thought it wouldn't be a problem. I got there and what do you know--the medical staff was gone! The receptionist was unsympathetic. It has been just about impossible to get a convenient follow up appointment and they are typically a month or more booked ahead. Not very helpful when the doctor doesn't give you more than 1 refill at a time for non-narcotic meds. To top it off, the clinic days and hours are severely limited. Its obvious this guy has other clinics and other projects he's working. In short, he's overbooked.He's a good doctor as far as taking the time to explain things goes and treating the problem. My outcome has been good. I cannot complain about his abilities. BUT--I don't have a serious condition and don't require any medicines that are addictive or narcotic. You'd think he'd just give me 6 months worth of refills and let me go on with… my life, but no. I keep going to these follow up appointments. My meds are older ones that are safe and require no labs to monitor. I just don't get it. I am now looking for a doctor that has the time to take care of me.
