Dr. Paula Chilin Ko, MD

Been a long time patient that has diabetes. I’m certain that Dr. Ko diagnoses, treatments, and diligent monitoring has greatly preserved my eyesight. She has been an invaluable direct of my overall vision preservation plan. I very highly recommend Dr. Paula Ko.

She is so wonderful. An excellent bedside manner. The exam was positive. My only problem was with the check out people. I wasn’t given something to cover my eyes to be able to drive home safely. I wasn’t given something also in lots of pain for most of the day. I wasn’t given something so uncomfortable I got depressed.

Dr. Ko was very knowledgeable & professional with the way she answered all my vision questions. I felt very comfortable with her most thorough exam. I also was very thankful that I got an appointment within two days which is rare nowadays. I would highly recommend this doctor.

I've had many serious issues and procedures in the past, and I have confidence that my vision is in the best hands with Dr Ko. She's thorough, informative, and to the point, all of which I appreciate. So glad I found her and this practice!

I have been seeing Dr Ko since 1997 for my Diabetes/eyes. She explains everything i need to know, it very careful. I can honestly say she is the doctor i trust among specialists. I believe she is on the Delaware board for Diabetets, or was.

I’ve had multiple ophthalmological issues over the years for to complications with diabetes. I am firmly convinced that Dr. Ko’s knowledge and experiences in testing my condition through the use of different available modalities has not only preserved u vision, but in fact has saved my vision. I’ve had laser treatments, and been injected with different medicines while following a lifestyle change of diet and exercise, all recommended and suggested by Dr. Ko. In short she is an amazing Ophthalmologist and retina care specialist. I So highly recommend Dr. Ko.

I have been seeing Dr. Ko for over 10yrs for my condition. She is extremely thorough and if your situation requires laser surgery will do it immediately the same day if necessary. Understand you might need to wait during your appointment for her to see you, but keep in mind, you are waiting for excellent care and should have patience.

I have found Dr Ko very knowledgeable, .informative and thorough at all my visits. She was especially generous to me at my most recent treatment visit when I put the wrong time on my calendar, missed the time of the visit but she managed to fit me in her usual busy schedule. 5 stars

Dr. Ko is a very professional, plus very kind doctor. She performs a thorough exam, and then explains completely which treatment is best. Dr. Ko gives her full attention to each patient's eye situation. She has been a miracle worker treating my macular degeneration. I know she will deserve to do so, but I hope she never retires!
