Dr. Paula Mckenzie, MD

Paula McKenzie, MD, is an internal medicine physician specializing in infectious disease. She provides treatment for sexually transmitted infections, HIV and AIDS. She also offers anal pap testing and PrEP services. She has a clinical interest in stopping the spread of HIV.Dr. McKenzie earned her medical degree from Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Carol Davila in Bucharest, Romania. She completed her residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn and an infectious diseases fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock.Dr. McKenzie's desire to help people and make a difference in their lives led her to become a doctor. "Making a connection with patients and helping them improve their health is what makes me most proud," she says.A native of Guyana, Dr. McKenzie moved to the United States after medical school.
