Wonderful caring physician

I have been a patient of Dr. Paula for over 25 years. I have followed her to each of her locations, that a true testament of what a wonderful doctor she is! She is caring, personable and always asks about the family. She delivered my first son as an emergency cesarian at 30 weeks which saved his life! She also delivered my second son safely. She is a wonderful doctor and would be an asset to any group!!

Dr Pokakof is kind, caring and patient. I’ve been in her care for 24 years and I don’t know of a better doctor and person. I highly recommend her because she listens to my concerns, provides knowledge, insight, and being a female she relates to my issues and/or problems.

Dr. Shaffer-Polakof has always been warm and caring with me. I trust her and appreciate her kidness and knowldge.

She starts the visit by asking what's going on and shes not talking about the health issues you are there for. She gets that life stresses affect out health and she takes time to listen. She is knowledge and provides the best care!

I've been a patient of Dr. Paula Schaffer-Polakof's for almost 30 years. I've followed her from different practices which says a lot about my relationship with her. She is caring, listens to my issues and concerns. She has ALWAYS called me back when i had a question or issue. Through the years, we have developed a friendship as well which says a lot because she has gotten to know me on a personal level. She has helped me with many of my other medical issues and guided me through many good / bad times throughout the years. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone I know that is looking for a honest and caring female OGBYN.

Dr Schaffer-Polakof is the best doctor. I have been her patient for over 18 years and would follow her anywhere. She is straightforward but caring. She really listens to you and goes above and beyond to make sure you get the best care and have all the information you need to make sound decisions about your health.

I had a procedure done by this goof back in 2012. Mocked me when I told her about pain I was experiencing during this procedure (so bad I passed out). Gave NO medications to ease discomfort or anxiety when having cervical biopsy performed. She is impatient, uncaring, and just plain rude. Horrible bed-side manner. This doctor is the reason I am fearful about going back to OB/GYN. Last doctor on earth I would ever recommend.

This doctor appears to have a chip on her shoulder and her attitude prevents a healthy atmosphere, which lends itself to the hostile care of her patients. If you desire a doctor who listens to your concerns and genuinely cares, this is not that doctor.

Dr. Schaffer-Polakof oversaw my pregnancy, delivered my son and performed my tubal ligation. She was always great to work with, very easy to speak with and very thorough with me. She was very tolerant of my 1 yr old twins coming with me to appts as well.
