Dr Pauline Leong

Dr. Leong is so patient and kind. She genuinely takes the time out of her busy schedule to make me feel comfortable and well cared for. I cannot thank her enough for her impeccable service. She is a gem to the Northwell system.

Pauline Leong lacks empathy and is only concerned with keeping her patient son medicine. I’ve witnessed first hand how rude she can be to both patients and doctors alike. She gives patients no hope for a lifestyle change and ensures that they continue taking medicine that causes them to become sick by misdiagnosing their issues. She is also extremely rude to other doctors if you may need someone to contact her. Time and time again, any doctor that I have had reach out to her for information on my medical history, has been shocked at how rude and incapable she is. Her practices are old and she only cares about $$ not her patients only causing them more harm emptionally, mentally, and physically. Someone with this sort of power that is being misused in this way, should have their title and practice removed. She is not fit not capable of being a doctor. I strongly urge people to STAY AWAY!!!! And if you have questioned her actions then take a step back and realize you’re not alone. Due to… how she treats patients she is not only a terrible doctor but also a terrible human being.

She does not listen to what one has to say about their condition. She didn't let me speak for more than a minute about the symptoms I was having. She kept on rolling her eyes when I was speaking. Overall, worse doctor in North Shore University Hospital, don't ever make an appointment with her, waste of money and your time.

At my first appointment Dr. Leong spent 45 speaking to me and going over family medical history and concerns. She is very patient, listens and answers questions. I have white coat syndrome, however my blood pressure was normal when she took it. That's how comfortable she made me feel. Also gave me copies of all my tests and even answered a question by email. I highly recommend her. The other review about the facility I have to agree with. A bit crowded and the receptionists and plebotomists were on the curt side, but this would not stop me from returning.

When calling you will NOT get any information as to when you can come in. They will ask for all of your information: Social Security Number, Insurance ID, Address, Name, date of birth, everything over the phone before they will tell you a thing! All this just to hear that they can accept you in a month time! then they will keep all of your information in the system, and refuse to delete it. This is unacceptable practice. Be careful!!!

On first visit, spent almost 2 hours, obtaining medical history, examining me, and advising what I should do. Very thorough and explanatory. Highly recommended.

It was my first visit to Dr. Leong and she spent almost 30 mins talking to me to get to know me and about my health history. She was very informative, patient and attentive to the concerns I've brought up. The best part is, she actually explains what she thinks might be the cause for something and also explains why she is running certain tests. I would definitely recommend seeing her. The only dislike is that the space didn't feel very cozy. It has a large waiting area because there are many other doctors in the same location. Oh, the nurse who took my blood pressure and weight seemed cold and methodical. Thank goodness Dr. Leong was nice!
