Dr. Pavan Kumar Yerramsetty, MD

Dr. Yerramsetty was a lifesaver for me. He understood my situation and gave me fantastic advice and care. I could not have received better care from anyone else. He provided me with rapid testing and diagnosis and gave me a rapid care when I was in a health and life crisis. I am eternally grateful.

2023 end of year - I’m not sure what the bad reviews are about ? Maybe he was socially awkward back then ? However TODAY I was treated very politely, professionally & felt like both he and the staff “ had my back “ , okay, corny but true. I hope I do not have to go back but I would have no issues with doing so. I thought he was engaging and kind.

Dr Yerramsetty... did not pre-view my case; seemed not to care to review provided XRAYs/MRI or to learn of my unusual cervical condition; responded to what I said like he doubted what I was telling him - until I put my xray images (on my tablet) in front of his face. He may have/should have been embarrassed, then and the office failed to send correct info to insurance for what should have been an easy pre-auth. Sadly $256 bucks gone. 'Got my treatments at Duke Spine and Pain... total different experience there.

My experience with Dr. Yerramsetty was very poor. He did not show empathy, care, or a desire to help me figure out my condition. Please try and see another physician if you can.

This man is potentially dangerous, I believe. Hostile and mocking to me initially. I did my best to make him feel comfortable and he relaxed somewhat and at least show some interest in my pain. However, I have no idea if he is a good doctor because his manner is massively inappropriate. He did not ask to hold my arm before taking it and starting a neurological exam. Upon entry in the room he became intensely provocative, demanding what kind of help I wanted and treating my responses like wrong answers on some unspoken quiz he had concocted. Also refused to answer what his name was without first making me jump through psychological hoops. visiting him was like being sucked into a nightmarish fairytale.

We found Dr. Yerramsetty to be very compassionate and kind! My mom started going numb and lost mobility on the left side of her body. It started at her neck and her arm had gone completely dead. Her leg was starting to go completely when she was referred to see Dr. Yerramsetty. The morning I picked her up, she had been reading reviews and was close to wanting to cancel her appointment. When we got in the room with him, though, he was very thorough and had a great bedside manner. He asked questions and gave her and me time to talk. He grew really concerned, ordered an MRI and asked for the receptionist to get it scheduled for the same day if at all possible. It was scheduled for less than an hour later downstairs. While Mom was in the machine, he walked out to the waiting room where I was with my one year old pacing the floors and playing. He looked very concerned and said, "it's not good," then proceeded to very calmly and nicely explain what he had seen. He even showed pictures on his… phone and played some with my baby while we talked. They put us in a conference room and he, with tears in his eyes and a grip on her hand, told us what he saw and what he recommended. He said to get to the Duke ER that day, because it was golf ball size tumor was growing fast and she probably wouldn't be able to walk the next day at all to get to more appointments. Since that horrible day, we found that my mom has Glioblastoma. She had the biopsy done, tumor removed and radiation/chemo started quickly. It's going to be a long journey and a hard fight, but mom has never backed down from a challenge yet and she's got plenty of spunk left! We're so thankful for him and hope to go back to visit to tell him "thank you" in person. We really were over impressed with how thoughtful and caring he was.

Went several times ...injections planned.He was late and "had not had his snack"I was scared to have him touch me and he was nasty to all the nurses helping in the procedure.He hurt me and when I told him I could still feel the injection he snapped at me "Be still!!!!Right now and be quite!!!I would NEVER go back!!!Arrogant and dismissive especially to women

This doctor did two seeders on me it did not do what he said they were new and one disabled my left leg almost completely
