Forgot to restart several medicines that almost caused a cardiac event. Forgot to add the food tube, despite only weighing about 90 pounds from being unable to eat much prior to cancer surgery. Our family had a conference with him, where he denied there was anything wrong with going cold turkey off levothyroxin (my thyroid was completely shut down 30 years ago), and had made no arrangement for nutrition until a week after the surgery. I did not have the energy to talk at this time. He said this is no problem, "it is good for you to go a week with just a sugar IV". Good for me when I am at the lowest weight of my adult life. When asked for a second opinion, he lost all emotional control, jumped up, and yelled, "And WHO are You?! (arrogant!) He then bolted from the room still yelling. No emotional control is a kiss of death for a Dr.
