Dr. Payam Soltanzadeh, MD

Waited over 3 months for appointment Fellow interviewed me. Left for 50 minutes. Dr S Hadnt read my file, unfamiliar eith me. Whoever said he spent tome answered questions. Not thecman I meet.. I had colon surgery followed by chemo pills, 5 months prior. He jumped on it saying chemo caused an autoimmune disease. Weskness in the legs. Condition started 5 years ago. Wound up in ER & hospital months before colon surgery and chemo. Pills are not as strong as radiology and chemo IV. Chemo a few months earlier couldn't cause something that was from 6 months, started 5 years earlier. Wsited so long to see the specialist who didn't know who he was talking to. No care. Couldn't even review my file.

I have seen Dr. Soltanzadeh several times since my neurological symptoms started one year ago. He is a great listener and always takes my concerns very seriously. My appointments never feel rushed and he has given me a thorough work up with no stone left unturned. It can feel quite isolating to experience strange and sometimes scary symptoms but Dr. Soltanzadeh has always been reassuring and makes me feel like I’m in good hands. A truly great doctor.

So grateful to see Dr. Soltanzadeh at UCLA. He was my doctor at the Cleveland Clinic and yes I followed him all the way to UCLA. I went from a walker, wheelchair , not walking , rehab facilities to now walking again, working out and gaining my strength back due to Dr. Soltanzadeh. He’s an amazing doctor. Shows so much care and attention to me . I will forever be grateful for him . UCLA rocks ! Your Jackson TN patient ! Love me some him !!! #goseehim

I saw him for a neuromuscular issue and he dismissed the problem I was not only concerned about but I had labs that backed up my concerns. He basically told me it was in my head even though I have clear visual signs of a disease process in my body. I think he needs to listen to his patients and read labs that point to a certain illness. Please be a better doctor. UCLA is already filled with bad doctors, this field is crucial to people in need. Be better.

Excellent doctor. Diagnosed my muscular dystrophy after years of other doctors all just saying it was arthritis. Very knowledgeable and explains things clearly in understandable terms. Even looked up in fo for me on the internet. A1 doctor.

He didn't listen to me at all and I had to keep repeating myself. He had me try three different medications for headaches. He didn't order any testing, blood work, etc. I drove over 6 hrs to see him. It was just like a regular doctors appointment. I ended up going to a clinic in Minnesota and they diagnosed me with a thermoregulatory disorder and now I'm back to work. I would never recommend anybody to go see this quack!

He got me diagnosed with a painful neurological condition. He sent me to pain management whenever my pain wasnt treated here. I called him back and he still refused to treat my pain. He had a nurse call me to inform me I was a drug seeker. Duh. I'm in excruciating pain, of course I'm seeking pain meds! He had a shotty attitude and she called me a drug seeker. Duh. I'm in excruciating pain so yes, I was asking for pain meds. Shes was also condescending . I will never see this doctor or any other doctor at Cleveland chinic.
