Great knowledge, helpful procedures, excellent at following up

Bad doctor and horrible human being. 8 years ago my mother was in a work accident. She required back surgery. Emmanuel was the one who performed the operation. He left my mother permanently disabled. First he said the pain would be temporary due to the surgery. When the pain did not go away, he accused my mother of making it up. This resulted in my mother getting a lawyer. Despite other doctors confirming her pain was real, Emmanuel refused to take responsibility. But I bet he didn't refuse payment. That's right , he was paid to leave my mother disabled for life. My mother now requires a strong pain reliever which is almost impossible to find and even then he would not at least give her a prescription. He wasn't even man enough to face my mother, instead sending his assistant who thinks she owns the place (I wonder why) who admits Emmanuel is owned by the insurance company ( I have video proof as I recorded the conversation). My mother deals with severe pain everyday thanks to Dr.… Payam R. Emmanuel, MD. Please do yourselves a favor and stay away from this "doctor". I don't know why he gets so much positive feedback unless it was all through "special favors". Please stay away! You're better off during the operation yourself.

Amazing surgeon horrible bedside manner arrogant

This Physician is professional, an expert in the field and spends time looking at the whole patient, listens and provides a thorough and comprehensive treatment. Follows up and easy to talk to. I had numerous misdiagnosis prior to seeing Dr. Emmanuel and he did the tests necessary to confirm the proper diagnosis and explained my treatment options in a way that I could easily understand. Excellent follow up after treatment.

WAITING time to long AND spends little time with you. his office staff droped the ball when i told them to fax the aproval for my pt. then the pt office called the dr office for them to refax it. and when i called the dr office they blamed my pt office for losing the fax. and the pt office told me the dr never faxed it they had to call my workers comp case manager for it
