Dr. Peak Woo, MD

Doesn't listen, shouts at patients, cruel and cold. On top of all this he is not very knowledgeable (I got my problem fixed in 20 minutes by another doctor and they verified that Peak had no idea what he was talking about! Worrying that he is even still practicing medicine!

If I could give even more stars I would. Im a vocalist who had a polyp on one of my vocal cords. Singing is everything to me and I was horrified at the possibility of having it taken away from me. My ENT recommended Dr. Woo to me for my surgery and told me he was the best. When I mentioned to my vocal therapist that I had chosen Dr. Woo, she told me he was one of the top 3 in the world for this type of surgery. When I went for my consultation I found Dr. Woo to be a very kind man who took time with me during my examination to fully explain everything and put my fears to rest. I wanted to get the surgery done ASAP. Silvia and Celia in the front office went way above and beyond to help me get the medical clearance from my primary doctor that I needed, amongst other issues that needed to be dealt with in order for me to get in surgery as quickly as I wanted to and they did so with kindness and concern for my needs. They are true professionals and treated me as if I were the only patient… they needed to accommodate. I am happy to say I had my post-op appointment with Dr. Woo last week and he said I am healing beautifully. My voice is clear and I have my vocal range back!

he performed surgery on my throat in 2005, for nodule on my vocal cord, and repaired damage to the other vocal cord, which was damaged by the nodule. I am a singer and actor, and i could not sing or speak properly until the surgery. Surgery di not take long, and I was released the same day of surgery.

superior doctor in every way

The first time I met with Dr. Woo i wasn't used to the confidence that he gives off (Arrogance?) BUT...I couldn't be more WRONG. This Dr. took his time to explain treatment even with a full lobby of patients, has excellent bedside manner, willing to think outside the box, Sometimes the news isn't good and he is a Dr. and not a magician but he doesn't give up!

Dr. Woo is so understanding, gentle, and an excellent Doctor. If it weren't for Dr. Woo's treatment of Botox injections into my neck for my breathing, I don't think I would be here today. I can never Thank you enough.

Such a wonderful person, calming and caring. He is just wonderful. I have been going to him 5 years now and he is getting me to where I should be. Both vocal cords are paralized. This is not an easy condition to live with but he makes me feel so good when I leave him.
