Most unprofessional and mean Doctor I have ever been to. Recently I've been suffering from chest pain and stomach pain. I found out my stomach pain is due to a stomach infection named H. Pylori. For my chest pain I had one EKG done about a month before I saw Dr. Salehi and he thought that was enough to tell me that I was fine and all my Terrible pain was in my head. He prescribed me tons of Prilosec OTC and anti biopics for my infection. A few days later I went back. My arms and toes started to go numb. As I was there in front of him I told him I couldn't feel my toes and without looking at me or running further tests he said oh your ok. I had been to the Er for my pains about 6 times. All I asked was if he could do an ultrasound of my heart or a stress test as my pains continued to worsen. He YELLED at me and said "No one in this building is going to do anymore tests. I've already told you it's not your heart. That's it!" "You didn't believe my diagnosis the first time then you went… to the ER!" All I was asking for was reassurance and a chance to be able to sleep at night knowing that there was nothing wrong with me FOR SURE. and until I told him "ok so just come back once I'm dead or what?" And he said fine I'll do an x Ray. Now weeks later my pain is worsening and I'm practically in tears now all day. I can't work or do anything. I called back and asked for a referral to a cardiologist thinking he's a specialist he would be able to look deeper and check arteries and give me the tests I need. His staff quickly called me back and said he denied my referral because he has "no basis" to send me. That infuriated me. I pay for my insurance! The least they can do is be cooperative and understand that if I didn't feel as bad as I do I would not be pushing to get further tests and to see a specialist. Never would I reccomend this doctor. I switched doctors immediately.
