Dr. Briceno is the best !!! He makes sure you understand the surgery procedures and all treatment options. He is very compassionate, professional and makes you very comfortable. I can't thank him enough and if you ever need colon surgery, I highly recommend him. It was great to hear the words now "Cancer free" today at the follow up appointment. Thank you for everything.

Always took time to listen to me. Most caring Dr. I have ever met! Very compassionate! Had 3 operations and would probably not be here if not for him! Can't say enough for this wonderful Dr.

Dr. Briceno spent a lot of time examining me and explaining in detail the endoscopic umbilical hernia procedure he would be doing. The first Dr. I had consulted just lifted my shirt and said "Hernia Repair", and nothing more! Dr. Briceno followed up after the procedure both in hospital and afterwards. I would highly recommend him for any surgery. He takes a lot of time with you and takes pride in his work

I me Dr.Briceno at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, when I was admitted there for a complication with my gall bladder. The other physician that saw me was insistent that I be sent home regardless of my inability to eat or excruciating pain I was in. Dr. Briceno came in and sat with me and my parents to explain to us the plan of my care. Dr. Briceno was at my bedside everyday from the moment he took my case and agreed to do my surgery till the morning I went home. Each day that he came in to see me regardless of how many times my amazing nurses had to call him about my care throughout the night, he made the time to explain and assure I was fine before leaving my room. I can not say enough positive things about Dr. Briceno's professionalism, bedside manner, caring and respectful genuine care he shows his patients. May God bless Dr. Briceno always.

the woman that answered my call named maggie was lethargic an rude from the second she picked up the call. she was not helpful and told me to go see another surgeon after being referred to dr brecino from sarasota memorial's er. i spoke to her equally offensive supervisor daphne. these two are rotten people. speaking with in such a disrespectful manner to customers that need surgery and have been told to call by the er physician after speaking to dr brecino is offensive. they should be ashamed of themselves and do not belong anywhere near public service.
