Dr. Pedro Luis Farinha, MD

I wouldn’t recommend this Dr. He’s the worst Dr. He doesn’t care about you and only cares about his money. If you’re in pain he gives you pills and tells you to deal with it. I believe he said, “pain is pain” He doesn’t rush anything Even when timing is crucial.

Dr. Farinha does not refer his patients out to specialists. He seems prone to piling on medications instead. He merely has his patients do labs every 3-4 months, has you make an appointment to discuss them, and isn't forthcoming with information. His reluctance to refer you to a specialist like a cardiologist for A-fib is especially troubling. There are far better doctors in Ridgecrest.

He always is in a hurry and makes you feel that you aren't important. I will never have a good thing to say about Dr. Pedro Farinha.

Doctor didn't care about my parent's worsening symptoms. His comment, "Well, she's old." She ended up in the ER a week later and almost died from blood clots in the lungs. I would not recommend him to anyone. However, the office staff is exceptional.
