Doctor guard was kind and considerate, cared of about my questions, answered them, communicated with me for a reasonable time, explained conditions to me very well.

I've been going to Dr. Guard for 18 years now, and have never had one complaint about her. She's very thorough and courteous. I like it that if you are have some kind of problem, she does not hesitate to send you to have a test done, unlike some doctors I've been to in the past. She's a sweetie!!!

I don't understand why people are saying she does not have good "bedside" manner. I think she is a very compassionate doctor, and I feel like she really does care.

love, love her- she is sooooo NICE!! makes you feel really comfortable! She really does care about her patients. Wouldn't have anyone else for prenatal care/delivary

i would NEVER recommend this "doctor" to anyone, not even my worst enemy. From the moment this on call doctor entered our labor and delivery room she was impatient, brash, jittery, careless, tactless and RUDE! She had no compassion, and was incredibly snide. She seems to have a deep dislike for women who want anything but highly augmented labor. She is disrespectful and rude to even calm and respectful laboring women. Please, save your experience, do not think that dealing with this doctor will turn out well. We lucked out, and thankfully she had to leave at the last minute, leaving us with a MUCH better doctor and superior care. Disgusted by Dr. Guard.

The worst bedside manner I have ever encountered! Rude is not even a strong enough word. I don't know how much she knows, because I could get past the rude part...will never go back.
