Dr. Peng Peng Faustine Wei, MD

Dr Peng-Peng Wei examined me and all the tests taken to determine my heart condition. She exhibited a highly professional and respectful demeanor, and she explained every aspect of my condition in easy-to-understand terms. She took my questions, gave clear answers, and ensured I understood. She gave me recommendations and instructions which made sense for me to prolong my life and in a happy, healthy manner. She was kind and caring throughout our meeting. I would recommend her to any patient.

This Dr ws assigned to my husband after 25 hours in the ER which was filthy. My husband had a long history at NY Presbyterian. He was admitted with E coli and put in double rooms with kidney transplant patients! He had explosive bloody diarrhea as soon as he was admitted and was released with it! I got him home to Conecticut where he spent one night in rehab and had to be admitted closer to home. She released my husband and said that I should put him in hospice, there was nothing to do! My husband spent a week in St. Vincents Hospital in CT where he was kept clean and worked with a hospitalist who helped him get well. He is still alive today a year later and has a quality of life. I took him home from NY barely conscious. She wrote him off because he was old and had cancer! She was annoyed with me because I questioned her treatment. No compassion, no bedside manner and evidently did not know how to cure E coli! Would never bring my husband back to that hospital!
