Dr. Lubens is the best doctor in the world I know him for 40 Years

the appointment was very short. he walked in and said "Oh he's retarded. and started writing on his chart. i went to '50' degrees right away. i asked him to examine my grandson first. we went back and forth. i told him we are originally from USC hospital and i was given his specific chromosome make-up and he just walks in as sez retarded with no examination. my time was up, because we were not getting anywhere. i would have liked him to examine the boy at least. i was so disappointed i requested another Dr. i could go on and on but after 5months since seeing the Dr im still upset.

My son has been seeing D Lubens for years and we are very happy with his service. He takes the time to listen to us and our concerns.

Mary ann was short and would not return calls or emails. Dr Lubens charged a large sum of money for a report that was inconclusive and frankly a waste of time. Dr. Lubens was friendly enough but work product was lacking.

I just called for an appointment. His staff, Mary Ann was impatient, unkind and rude.Burn out maybe. We are new patients. We will still see him because I trust Dr. Oh's recommendation.

took time to explain my son's condition. answered my questions in language that I understood. made my child comfortable.

very patient and understanding. helped us with a complex problem in a way that no one else was able to.

The office visit was less than 15 minutes yet was charged as an extended complex meeting. Dr Lubens did not allow time for providing any information -- Was filling out a form. Dismissive - simply referred out to another specialist, yet the problem is neurological in nature. This is consistent with prior visits. He may be a specialist in epilepsy, and may change his communication with parents and children with problems within his speciality. Otherwise, he seems to writes prescriptions, and does not attempt to collect additional information to allow for diagnosis of cause.

I have never been so disappointed in my life...my child was is the intensive care unit..he never came to find me to discuss my childs case..when he did..he attempted to discharge my child, eventhough seizures were still happening. Fired! Got a new dr and was extremely happy

Dr. Lubens helped us through a trying time. He was extremely knowledgeable and diagnosed our childs problem when other neurologists had failed. Our daughter loves going to see him.
