Dr. Peter Andrew Balousek, MD

In 2010 I went to the emergency Room at Valley General, with the worst headache on earth. I I was hoping for some real good drugs and then back to work. But fortunately for me Dr. Balousek was on call and saw me. He asked me to allow a cat-scan and MRI, and immediately recognized that I head a brain aneurism that had hemoraged. If it had continued I probably would have had a stroke or had died. Dr. Balousek moved quickly to get everything set up to fix my problem, and afterwards, I have been in excellent health. Thank you Dr. Balousek...you saved my life.

Dr. Balousek is actually an exceptional doctor, and is extremely brilliant in the art of fixing aneurysm's.He took the time to explain to me and my mother the procedure that was done as well as showed us where her very complicated aneurysm was. My mother is still doing quite weel.The only thing I believe Dr. Balousek need to improve is his attitude as well as his bedside manner. It is a very scarey time in a persons life when facing the words ANEURYSM!!!! so if he does read this this would be the only thind that I would say his his short fall. Other than that he is an extremely brilliant doctor. I would say you are in good hands with this doctor.

My wife had a stroke and Dr. Balousek performed the Procedure to remove the clot . He was very sympethic and described what was going to be done . He also described what could happen . After the surgery he came out and explained how it went .My Wife is doing well.

HIS BEDSIDE MANNER IS RUDE. IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT HE CONSIDERED HIMSELF TO BE TOO IMPORTANT TO BE BOTHERED WITH MY HERNIATED DISCS IN MY BACK. HE TOLD ME HE WOULD SIGN OFF ON MY UPCOMING ROTATOR CUFF SURGERY BUT WOULD TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY IF I SUFFERED COMPLICATIONS FROM SURGERY DUE TO MY UPPER BACK INJURIES.HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A COP. THIS IS THE WORST EXAMPLE OF A DOCTOR I HAVE EVER MET IN MY 57 YEARS ON THIS EARTH.
