If there is one thing Victor Patkowski and I can say about Dr B is HE IS Consistent! I am sure he has off and on days but it never shows! Always Professional excellent care... wonderful diagnostician! I am now on Pallative Care as a Purple Heart Vet! He is one of my true heroes at the top of the list since 2013!!!

I was referred to Dr. Belafsky after discovering a tumor in my trachea that was cutting off 90% of my airway. After being misdiagnosed with asthma for years and unable to find a doctor who would touch me, Dr. Belafsky stepped up and gladly took on the challenge of saving my life... and he succeed with the utmost tender and loving care. His level of knowledge and experience is unmatched, and his bedside manner is absolutely outstanding. He genuinely makes me feel like he cares about my well being, and he always makes sure to take the time to answer any and every question that I may have. I highly recommend him and his staff to anyone looking for next level care!

I have found Dr. Peter Belafsky to be an extraordinarily fine doctor. I have seen him about every 4 months for some years for treatment of chronic spasmodic dysphonia of my vocal cords. He is always sensitive to my concerns and feedback and responds by giving clear explanations of the options and by making treatment adjustments if needed. I've suffered from a voice problem for 12 years. Every specialist I saw over many years told me my voice deterioration was due to acid reflux. Medications for acid reflux never provided any relief. Finally I found Dr Belafsky. He listened carefully to my problem, examined me very thoroughly, explained his diagnosis in detail and proposed a treatment which has returned my voice to normal. I can't thank him enough or recommend him highly enough.

He is patient, caring, fully knowledgeable, and generates research in his field that he often can apply to my care. Dr. Belafsky rocks! I had a cough for 3 years which would on occation stop for a mouth or so and then start over. It was a debilitating cough that often rendered me unable to talk in more than one word sentences. It was both professionally and personally devastating. I went to Sutter doctors in Sacramento, San Francisco and UCSF. All gave up on me and said they couldn't help. After a great deal of research by my wife we found Dr. Belafsky. He took me through a step by step analysis of my cough and my response to different treatments until he found the right one. Three days after I began the final treatment regiment I began to stop coughing and within three weeks I wasn't coughing at all. I can't say enough about Dr. Belafsky. I was at the end of my rope with no place to go if he didn't find something. He was kind, understanding and determined to help me resolve the problem. The first few treatment options weren't working; I was becoming disappointed. I won't… forget his words, " you've got to let me quarterback this thing, I've got a few more things to try before we are through" If you have a cough that you haven't been able to find a treatment for, don't give up, you just haven't found the right doctor. Dr. Belafsky saved my life, I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Dr. Belafsky is one of the best and most caring Drs. I have had the pleasure of knowing. I used to travel to see Dr. B , from Northern California to San Diego when he was with Scripps. Then he transferred to UC Davis, only 2 hours from me...lucky me. I used to be treated by another Doc at UCSF and then I discovered Dr. Belafsky and he started treating me with a much less invasive procedure making my recovery much faster, easier and I am able to go much longer between procedures! He is fantastic! His staff is terrific, too. Without sounding creepy, I love this man, he has changed my life!
