Dr. Peter Terence Brennan, MD

The doctor’s billing office is terrible. They are all inept, incompetent and idiotic, trying every means to siphon off patients. I paid $45 upfront and got their receipt but they later repeatedly sent me bills, utterly refusing to acknowledge my payment. They are shameless.

Dr. Brennan was my worst nightmare. He does not listen... just doesn't treat you like you are really there. I endured this visit and wanted to walk out he was so confrontational. I got more information on Google than I got from him and it cost me nothing. He was in my face asking questions but would not give me an opportunity to answer. Absolutely no personality at all. He's like a machine with questions and didn't seem to be listening or treating me like a human being. I'll go elsewhere.

I had to get an endoscopy for some problems I was having. I was told to stay fully dressed since they are just looking at my upper GI tract. When I finally woke up groggy from the heavy sedation, I was told that they pulled my pants down and did a rectal exam without letting me know that was a possibility. I am not accusing them of anything horrible, but letting a patient know that you might decide to do that would have been nice. The time to hear this should not be when you wake up from heavy drugs. It would have been nice to have been treated like a person and not just a GI tract or a number waiting for a procedure.

I used to have Dr. West whom I adored. After his retirement I drew the unlucky #. He was totally unethical. I am a female and he did an internal anal exam WITHOUT a nurse in the room. He claimed he was taking a sample which he did then put ona card and threw it away. I would never ever recommend him not to mention inattentive and thinks he knows my health better. Do not go to him especially if you’re a woman.

My appointment with Dr. Peter Brennan was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor.

Wonderful Doctor! Been with him for over 20 years now and I am completely happy with the care he provides. The staff at the office is pleasant and attentive to the patients needs. Would highly recommend this office.

Dr. Brennan is a terrible listener and completely incompetent. I had to repeat myself 3 and 4 times before he would understand what I was saying. Even so, he completely disregarded about half of my symptoms and misdiagnosed my condition (despite several other diagnoses from doctors supporting the condition he told me I don't have). He misread several things on my chart that I had to interpret for him. I am not a hot headed person, but I nearly walked out on him, but I thought I should stay given that I'd already waited over an hour to see him. I wish I had walked out because his recommended treatment was something that I had already tried (and told him so, but he apparently didn't listen to that either). I am hardly functioning at ~20% capacity, have a severely restricted diet that precludes me from any sort of social function, and he didn't seem to care. He left the room without so much as a "Hope you feel better" or even a "good bye".

He seemed very professional, focused, and careful.
