Dr. Peter Frederick Cobb, MD

I would not recommend Dr. Cobb to female patients due to the judgement I received for being on birth control while being married. I would not recommend him for mental health treatment due to the lack of empathy and coldness I experienced discussing my symptoms. If you have a laundry list of issues, they will not all get addressed due to the poor intake paperwork and poor documentation from himself and staff. The documentation of my family history was ignored, and I was told it did not matter in regard to my current issues. I did not feel rushed during my appointment but the amount of silence during my appointment could have been filled with address my concerns, proper documentation, and options to treat my issues.

Most unprofessional doctor visit I have ever been to. The place made me feel claustrophobic. I could go on and on.

Was easy to make appointment. Did not have to wait long to be seen. Addressed my concerns.

I have seen only him for years. Because I am generally healthy and have not had to see them within a 365 day timeframe, I am now considered a new patient and have to wait for a “new patient” appointment (over 2 weeks). The symptoms I currently have, and shared with them on the phone, I have been told by multiple people that if a Dr. heard them they would most likely try to get me in quickly. I waited my 2 week “new patient” time period and setup a 7:10am appointment and was asked to be there 30 mins prior for paperwork. I tried to call the morning of the appointment to let them know I was stuck in traffic and was met with their answering service, which stated they were not in the office to answer phones until 7am. I arrived 7 minutes late (for paperwork) and was told that I could not be seen. I still had 23 minutes to fill out paperwork vs the requested 30 minutes but was refused and sent away! I AM NOT EVEN TECHNICALLY A NEW PATIENT!! The lady at the front showed NO care, NO… concern, and NO compassion – in fact her face seemed very COLD with her smirk, raised eyebrow and nod.

Wonderful doctor!! Dr. Cobb takes the time to explain what is going on and puts into words that helps you understand it's not just medical terminology. It's great to have a doctor that will not just prescribe antibiotics or pain meds just to get you out of the office. The girls at the office are so prompt with calling me back. The dogs are such a plus to the office! You definitely feel like a member of the family with the care you get. Thanks for everything!

One of the best docs around. He doesn’t want to push pills to mask the problem. He takes the time to get to the root of he problem. Too many docs out there giving pills that can cause addiction. Not Dr. Cobb. So if your just wanting a “quick fix” this is not the place. He truly cares about the patients well being in the present and their future. All the staff was courteous and very professional. The dog and fish are a plus!

Being 7 minutes late will guarantee you refusal of service. Peter Cobb is a great doctor his staff I don't think so.I waited 5 days for a doctor's appointment and then couldn't find the place was actually in the parking lot 2 doors down but got refused told my appointment was canceled....

After my doctor of some 30+ years retired, I chose Dr. Peter Cobb as my primary care doctor. I completely regret that decision. In my opinion, I feel he had a total lack of empathy in handling my care. I stayed with TriStar ... But never dreamed I would have had such an experience as I had with this man. In my opinion, anyone would be well served to look elsewhere for care.
