Dr. Peter H. Edwards, Jr. is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with a fellowship trained specialty in Sports Medicine. His practice has an emphasis on arthroscopic surgery of the knee and sports injuries of the lower extremity. As a team physician for the Columbus Crew and U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Soccer Teams, he has gained experience in advanced cutting edge treatments that help athletes at all levels and all ages."It has been rewarding to help professional athletes recover from injuries and return to the field," says Dr. Edwards. "Our experience with the Crew also helps us stay on top of treatment options for all the other student and adult athletes we see."Committed to giving back, Dr. Edwards remains active in ongoing musculoskeletal research as well as directing a sports fellowship program.Dr. Edwards is married and has four children.
