Dr. Peter Mark Fink, MD

I was hospitalized by Dr. Fink in the late 70s when I was 15 years old. I was held in a facility with adults, I was drugged beyond belief and sexually abused by another patient. Dr Fink kept patients (younger women mostly) tied to their beds for days on end. I remember everything and there is soo much, this man is a monster!!

Dr. Fink appeared to have an extremely thorough understanding of psychiatric medication, which hardly made up for his thoroughly insensitive bedside manor. If you need someone to prescribe essential medication at the recommendation of your primary therapist, Dr. Fink is just fine. He is extremely responsive to email, and you may appreciate his conservative approach, as other reviewers mention! For even the slightest counseling or therapy outside of simply prescribing medication, however, please steer clear. He can be dangerously offensive without realizing it, which could have deleterious effects on one's mental health.

We have been seeing Dr. Fink for over five years.; we look to him for medication management. He is compassionate, caring and has a way of relating and speaking to children/teens which makes them feel comfortable; he is respectful, never judgemental. If you are looking for a clinician who is authoritarian, look elsewhere. Dr. Fink, in a style all his own, helps parents and patients to come to decisions that are in the best interest of all involved. He is a wonderful, admirable human being. You will be in good hands and get state of the art care from Dr. Fink.

Dr. Fink takes his time to listen to the parents and shows great patience and engagement when dealing directly with the patient unlike others who only talk to parents. He is very conservative, careful, and thoughtful when dealing with medications. I highly recommend him.
