Hid paperwork for an injured police officer in Brooklyn delaying his permanent disability by years also refused medical surgeries and medicine to injured police officer was scolded by supervisor for this infraction then cursed an screamed at police officer threatening to get him back . Which he did ! Was taken to court over this !

Rude, obscene , clueless and uncooperative , I'm Jewish and Jewish jokes were often told infront of patients tasteless and bigoted !!would not recommend this guy for nothing !! Not to mention refuses to render aid when others will !! Curses a lot and berates staff infront of patients !!

I have been his patient for 25 years. Wonderful man and doctor. Lovely office staff (including his wife). Know the family well. And contrary to the incorrect comment below, he does not hate cops. That person has the wrong doctor, Dr. Peter Galvin is also an NYPD Surgeon

My Dad is crippled because of this doctor. He was misdiagnosed and sent home with ibuprofen. When I had to call him on behalf of my elderly father he became enraged that I was questioning him. The conversation was pointless because he is so irrational. Very scary. Thank God my Dad is no longer his patient.

The doctor, his partner and office staff (which includes his wife) are very pleasant anytime I come in. It's hard to come across more accommodating medical care in the city these days. I recommend him to anyone who needs a new doctor, and one who takes many of the insurance plans that other doctors do not!
