Dr. Peter David Hucek, MD

I was a patient of his in Powell and since he left I realized he was one of a kind. I have had nothing but problems with my new doctor and have been searching for Dr. Hucek since. I know many others have also and I think I found him in Granville, Ohio. Even though it’s 35min from my home it will be worth the drive!

Understandable, patient, caring and down to earth.

Has anyone got additional info on Dr. Hucek's new office location or phone number?

He will be in a new office in Delaware, Ohio mid January 2018. Saw him last week, he will be specializing in 55 and older patients. A new phone number should be available once his new office is opened. He is no longer with Ohio health.

I was taken by surprise when I called the Powell office and was told, Dr. Hucek was no longer there. I did not receive any notice of him leaving and found the office help to be rude and uncaring. I wish Dr. Hucek the best of everything!!

I have had Dr Hucek as my family doctor for aprox 15 years. I have gone as far as moving out of the Columbus area, and now driving for two hours to get to his office. I have complete trust in Dr Hucek, however I wonder if I care for the way the office is starting to be. Very impersonal. For that I blame the "coroporation".

I'm very upset that Dr Hucek has left the practice. I have been going to him since I was 14 and he has always taken care of any health concerns I have had. Since he has left the office has become rude and unhelpful. I called to have one of my prescriptions filled and they basically told me to bad and that I need to find someone else. They gave me no warning that he was leaving. All I received was a letter dated a week after they said he was leaving. Not only that but they are no longer accepting any of his patients. That is not the way to treat people who have been going to your office for years. Have a little respect and understanding. Dr. Hucek, If you read this please let us all know where you went. You have so many people who are looking for you and would follow you. If you have left for good, we all wish you well and hope for the best. To anyone one who has any information, please let me know.

You are the best PCP any individual could find. You are greatly missed.

Dr. Hucek is the best doctor I've had in my 40+ years on this earth. I've had some uncommon health issues, and he has seen me through many frustrating times. I cried when I received the letter stating he was gone. I tolerated the Powell OH Health office because he was worth it, but I would gladly follow Dr. Hucek anywhere else. In the meantime, I'm switching to a new PCP with OSU. I truly hope to find Dr. Hucek available again, and wish I knew what happened.

My family had been with Dr Hucek for more than 25 years. We all loved him. He listened and treated patient well. He did not rely on specialists for every diagnosis beyond a cold or sinus infection! We miss you.
