Great doctor and a super nice fella. Easy to talk to. Actually listens and responds accordingly. Been seeing him the past few years for my Buprenorphine treatment. Compassionate and caring individual that makes you feel more like a patient and less like just "another patient". Highly recommend. I have been a patient for almost 8 years now. DR. HURTIBISE is hands down the best doctor ever. I am 42, have 5 kids 1 of which is terminally ill so I have seen a ton of Doctors. I can honestly say that doctor H is the Doogie Howser or (House) of all doctors. The man is beyond brilliant and belongs with Hershey, Mayo Clinic or Boston Children's Hospital. Thankfully he isn't though

I’ve been seeing Dr Hurtibise for little over a year. I’ve been through so many doctors. This doctor explains everything that the patient is in his office for! I respect this doc! Bc I never cam across a doc like him who actually really does CARE!!! There should be slot more doctors like this man! Huge heart!!! I love this doctor!!when I’m feeling my worse, when he walks in that door I just gotta smile! He’s a fantastic doctor with a HUGE Heart!!!!

Compassionate, caring, on time, thorough and very good bedside manners. I thank God for putting him in my path. Great staff too.

He was the worst physician that I ever had. I can't understand all the good reviews. And he isn't even an MD-he is a DO. Check into the differences. I know other former patients who hold the same strong negative opinion about him. I feel that he is all about the money, it helps when he again has a new office. I believe that it must be his friends or family writing the good reviews. I only started going to him because the wonderful nurse practitioner left the practice. I am disabled and he made an assumption about me, jumping to the wrong conclusion without ever discussing with me first. I was totally offended, rightfully so. I never had a physician speak to me in such a condescending manner. Just who does he think he is? I think he has a God complex. I could go on and on. If he is such a wonderful person and doctor why does he also allow and not have a handle on how his office staff treat his patients-it is happening all the time. People are humiliated and embarrassed in the… waiting room all the time-used to make me very uncomfortable, and yes, again it is always about the money. I know of an old woman with heart failure who gets so sick that at one time she was in hospice care, and who fired him as her doctor due to mistreatment and being humiliated in front of the waiting room-about her bill. Also due to poorly controlled medical problems. I have a good, competent, professional family physician now and I hope that my review spares other individuals from the types of experiences that I had in that office. Go elsewhere and be treated with dignity, go somewhere that it isn't all about the money. Go to someone affiliated with Lancaster General- not the Lancaster hospitals he works for, if you want decent care. I think that it is about time that the truth be told.

Dr Hurtubuse is the most professional and compassionate Doctor I have met in my 20 year career as a RN and my son recently transferred to his practice and it has been great ! Caring and compassionate is hard to find in this day he goes above and beyond

Dr. Hurtubise has been our family physician since his intership with Aichele and Frey (going back more than 20 years). Dr. Hurtibise is wonderful, caring, compassionate and is knowledgeable in all aspects of medicine and can answer any questions you may have that may concern your health situation. Julie Burrowes and Marge Torcha are exceptional as well. Nurses Donna, Molly and Joy are great (you can get rid of the others, they have no clue as to what is going on.) The front office staff with the exclusion of Raquel and Annie should all be fired; they never know what is going on, they are especially rude and always seem to put you in the position that you are the one that doesn't know what is going on. The office manager Kathy is arrogant, standoffish and could care less about what your billing concerns are. Dr. Hurtubise, Julie, Marge, Donna, Joy, Raquel, Annie we all love you.

I see Julie, and she is absolutely wonderful, as well as the nurses. On the other hand, the front desk girls are rude and short. Very unwelcoming. If you can get past them, the office is definitely worth going to!
