Dr. Peter Foley Jackson, DMD

Peter F. Jackson, DMD, specializes in all aspects of orthodontic care for children and adults. This includes treating underbites and overbites, correcting jaw alignment and straightening crooked teeth or those with gaps. He has a clinical interest and expertise in palatal expansion and treating patients with cleft lip and palate. Dr. Jackson enjoys getting to know his patients and seeing the difference orthodontic treatment can make in their self-confidence. "I love having the opportunity to positively affect growing patients," he says. "I also like that many of our approaches can be accomplished without local anesthetic."Dr. Jackson served in the U.S. Army for four years following graduation from dental school. "The military taught me the importance of camaraderie and teamwork," he says. "The Army also helped me become a more focused and confident dental clinician."A lifelong learner dedicated to his field, Dr. Jackson became a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 2018. …He is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Dental Association and American Dental Association.In his spare time, he enjoys exploring Pennsylvania's natural beauty with his wife and two daughters. His house is also home to a dog, two cats and a guinea pig.
