Peter Janu, MD, is a surgeon with a special interest in heartburn and reflux disease, as well as minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques, endoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, nutritional support and hernia surgery. Dr. Janu developed the region’s first Reflux Center of Excellence and had served as its director since inception. Dr. Janu is kind, always takes the time to explain all treatment options in a way that is easy to understand, and has a plan. He is absolutely phenomenal. I have been working with him for 6 years and he is not hesitant to order diagnostic tests when necessary. His expertise with gastrointestinal disease and complex GI issues/surgical interventions is impressive. Dr janu and his staff are amazing.

I was very happy that we found Dr. Janu He is very good at what he does and at explaining the procedures. I am excited about having him fix me up in a couple of weeks. Dr Janu and his staff are all good at what they do. They all make you feel comfortable. You are all number one with me.

Dr. Janu is professional and down to earth at the same time. He takes the time to explain everything and answers your questions. A very good doctor. His office assistant Christi is knowledgeable and gets things done. She doesn’t miss a beat. In healthcare that’s a wonderful attribute to have. Dr. Janu has a great staff. They all compliment each other nicely.

Dr Janu was very thorough with his explanation of the results. I thought the 3 weeks after the procedure seemed like a long time to wait for a follow up… other than that, things went smoothly.
