Dr. Peter William Kakavas, MD

One of the worst doctors I've ever seen. Acted like he wasn't familiar with my problems and literally walked out the door as I was still asking him questions. So upset!

Dr. Peter Kakavas treats me with as much care as my mom! He is soooo smart that, even when I am at my best and inquisitive as a body can be, he takes it all in, in total, and answers it to the letter! God bless him for answering his calling to be a doctor!

Dr. Kakavas is an outstanding physician and I will continue to see him and refer family and friends to him at Heart Care Centers of Illinois.

I was not impressed with this clinic when I first entered and should have turned and left, but I had tests already done previously to seeing this doctor, so wanted to get those results and see what he had to say. He told me I have a condition and wanted me to go to therapy and treatments for the condition. After doing research on my own, I felt uncomfortable with what his diagnosis was. So, I decided to get another opinion. I requested my test results. My test results said straight out in plain English, I do NOT have the condition he said I had and needed to be treated for. I could have wasted a ton of money and insurance money for something I do NOT have and can be verified with another doctor along with the test results given and supposedly interpreted by Dr. Kakavas. My first impressions of the place were accurate unfortunately. I will tell all my friends and family to steer clear, and am going to complain to whoever I need to, along with my attending physician who referred me to… him. He is a nice guy, just should stick to internal medicine and forget serious illness like cardiac and cardiovascular.
