Dr. Peter Jurgen Kiefer, MD

Dr. Kiefer has been my PCP for a long time. During that time I have had a few medical issues, mostly common, easily treated. I have been very satisfied with the care I've received from his office.

I have been going to this doctor since he was a new doctor. I didn't go for awhile because I never got sick and when I finally went back to him it was like coming home. I was so happy to talk to him I had tears in my eyes. He takes his time without rushing you out of his office, he is polite and kind and I'm so glad he's still my doctor.

He is a great Dr. Never rushes out and takes the time to listen.

I have been seeing Dr. Keifer for a few years. while not having evening or weekend hours is inconvenient for me - I am still very pleased with him and his staff. he is a man of few words but I don't care how chatty my doctor is, I want a doctor that will listen and care for me. He calls me back, he understands my preferences and his staff is very professional. I don't go to the doctor to party and socialize - I go for medical care that that's what I get there. Doesn't shove these new prescriptions down your throat that doctors get paid commission for every time they write a script. Very pleased with this office.

Great Doctor trusted him with my life and i'm still alive

Been seeing Dr. Kiefer since the eighties. He has been an excellent Doctor for myself, my wife, my children and my father. I can't imagine going to another doctor.

Terrible Doctor no compassion for his patients. Lacks people skills and knows nothing about modern medicine. Crook scumbag will lie to you then no call no show appointments and PErsctption refills. Doesn't answer phone calls and very rude highly inprofessinal receptionist and wait staff. Will leave you without your PErscription he does not care if your life depended on it. Shop around and stay away from this Oakton maple family practice

The way I found out this unprofessional quak had discharged me was that he stopped returning my calls and filling my prescriptions which I badly needed after being his patient for years! Not even a letter or return phone call explaining why! I am a person with serious, ongoing, problems which are supported by tests I had to insists this degenerate give me. Then, after I spent my time repeatedly calling over and over again to try and get some kind of explanation I was accused of calling in my own prescriptions! What??! I never did that and dont even know how a person would go about such a thing. How dare they. This moron obviously doesnt even keep track of the prescriptions he gives out or maliciously lied. Im talking to a lawyer now about this whole fiascos. Also, ive since found out some of the treatment methods he used on me were incorrect for my conditions. His office staff is as bad as he is and rude. Go here only if u want to end up abruptly cut of from treatment with lies as… explanations u have to waste your time hunting down. What a horrible way to treat anyone let alone a sick patient of his who had been seeing him for a long time.

I dont knwo who wrote that previous review but all my visits were completed within 5 minutes. The wait time is longer than the time the doctor spend swith the patient. He is old and sexist and set in his ways. He does not listen to the patients concerns. You really have to be an advocate for yourself to get him to consider your complaints as legitimate. He just brushes off examining the patient and tries to make light of any exams. He will try to get out of checking the problem if he can. I am changing him as my PCP asap.
