Dr. Peter John Niciforos, MD

Dr.Nici may be a little rough around the edges but this doctor saved my life. Made a appointment for breathing issues and coughing over 20 years ago and he asked me how long I have been feeling like this and I said about a month and he was upset with me due to my delay in contacting him or go directly to the ER. Walking pneumonia I had for a month. He ordered meds to the pharmacy and followed up with him after the meds were finished and I was feeling much better. Sometimes the patient needs a eye opening due to being stubborn and delay treatment. To this day never forget what he did for me. Give this Doctor some credit. I do. Thank you doctor Nici. Attentive doctor and staff. Dr. Niciforos has always made sure all my concerns were dealt with, he listens to me not like many other doctors I had in the past. Estela is always on top of things I don't worry when she is in charge of my referrals cause I know she will make sure I get them. I been going there for 10+ yrs.

Dr. Niciforos is rude, sbd should retire. He does not listen ask you what do want and uses profanity in front of patients and staff. His staff are okay, but if they had a doctor who was professional perhaps his staff would measure up. Please do yourself a favor and stay clear!!!!!!!!!! I’ve reported this doctor to my insurance carrier.

This doctor I've have once before when I was young. Now as an adult I found he took my insurance and I went right back to having him as my primary doctor. I've gotten sick a lot lately. Mostly seen urgent care because of my work hours. But every time I've seen him, he is the only doctor who has been 100% successful in treating me. Which is crazy, I am so grateful. Theres a pharmacy right across the parking lot where he calls in the medication for me. It works out smoothly every time. He recently just gave me the worst news I wouldnt have ever wanted to hear. Not life threatening but I'm hurt and shocked at the diagnosis. I almost ran out of the office. But while I was still in there with him. He told me it's ok, its common. Dont take it too hard, he didnt judge me. He reassured me and when he seen I was not taking the situation well he told me he can refer me to a specialist who can help me much better understand. His staff is good. The medical assistants treat me good. I do not know… their names and I wish I did.

Oh Boy! A surgeon in Vietnam with arthritis in his knees! I'm sure "Dr.Nici" was proficient at some point.. Now? I've been seeing him (he doesn't seem to see me) for 11 months. It's disconcerting that every visit I'm a total stranger. It honestly took 7 mo. to address my most serious issue! 7 painfully long months. Had an unrelated surgery during this time which the surgeon was canceling due to heart enlargement. Dr Nici overrode the decision thinking the issue was entirely different. HE DOES NOT LISTEN!! EVER! His staff has made mistake after mistake. If you have a sore throat..see him. Anything else don't waste your time. Worst doc ive ever had. He's brash, rude, you are always wrong, he never listens!

This doctor takes a very aggressive way to help with medical problems and does not hesitate to get prompt referrals to specialists. Doctor takes a thorough assessment and goes over need and what is not needed in medication. The front office is professional and the medical staff including medical assistants and rad techs treat you with respect and courtesy. If you need a doctor don't hesitate to go to this office as they have made me feel that my care was very important.
