Dr. Peter Eric Rockland, MD

I met Dr. Rockland more than 10 years ago during the worst period of my life. My family and I all wholeheartedly agree that he saved me. I was being hospitalized for the second time in 2 years. I was "diagnosed" with bipolar disorder at first, and I believe schizophrenia was a working diagnosis at one point as well. I thank my lucky stars that our paths crossed. Dr. Rockland was fortunately completing his residency (at one of the best hospitals in the world) at the same time I was being â??figured outâ??. Now it's been 10 years since we met and no, I'm not schizophrenic, or bipolar. With Dr Rockland's help, I have overcome major depressive disorder with psychotic episodes (hence having to be hospitalized and why many of the smartest doctors were very confused), and have been off medication for 4 years. I cannot say enough amazing things about this extraordinary doctor. He is compassionate and intelligent, and as I mentioned earlier, I literally owe my health and happiness to him. I… read in another review that his cost was an issue for the reviewer, but as in most things in life, you get what you pay for, and in my opinion, Dr. Rockland is worth every penny. Even now, being on stable mental health ground, I look forward to my periodic "check ups" with Dr. R.

Most overpriced dr in nyc- 800/ hr!!!! Making more then million a yr off you! . Too pill friendly , meets with you 15 of paid for 30 min or 30 of an hour , outrageous. - female 20s from nyc, met with Rockland for 3 session before leaving

Do not trust this doctor, his price is exorbitant and he will sue you to get his money, even years after the fact. He sued me and there were other patients in the court that day he was suing too. He is the worst and very dangerous, find someone else.
