Dr. Peter Savino, MD

I'm writing this with a friend, the patient patient, Larry Frizzell. After seeing Dr. Savino, I'm not moving forward, if anything I going backwards. I waited for 3+ months for my appointment with Dr.Joseph Savino who twisted my complaint and incorrectly noted what the situation is in my chart. Upon walking in the room he told the assistsnt that he doesn't deal with dizziness. I then stated that I don't have dizziness nor is the room spinning as he concocted, this I repeatedly corrected during my visit. Additiinally, during my appointment, I explained several times what my concerns were and he responded as if I was aa student who had not my homework. This I found to be very unprofessional and condescending. Now reading the reviews like the one I'm writing, I advise you see someone else. With my insurance my hands are tied as there is no other option. 1 star ?? is way too generous, he doesn't and won't get any from me!

Dr Peter Savino may one day was a good doctor but, as a result of an eye exam with him, I felt he may have been a good doctor at one time but my experience is that he was simply there to teach other students instead of performing an actual exam. He asked me one question. : "does your family have glaucoma?" That was the only question he asked me for the whole exam of my eye and my optical nerve. The rest of the exam was performed by 3 other med students without his presence in the exam room. I was stunned when he got up and walked out of the exam room without giving me any conclusion or any report. There was no follow up. There was no appointment made for a second or annual or biannual exam in the future. A normal doctor would discuss your eyes, what he saw, what he didn't see, what he could recommend or any other professional opinion or fact. But instead, he disappeared into the hallway. Nothing. But he was very interested in speaking to young asian woman in the… hallway who may have been a med student.

No compassion at all. Doesn't care. Only spent 2 min with me. I waited months to see him hoping he would help my chronic eye pain but he did nothing. No tests, no labs or imaging done by him. He determined that I didn't have nerve problems by simply looking at me. Don't waste your time with him. The worst dr I've ever seen. Read reviews so you won't end up with drs like him...

Awful is an understatement...

Not sure where to begin. In a word; awful.

This is the best physician that I have seen in UC Health Systems. His vast array of knowledge and experience provided for a comprehensive assessment and treatment options. I appreciated his style, warmth, and professionalism. He listened to me and spent a lot of time with me. I highly recommend him.

A rude man to me and to his staff. Arrogant and dismissive of the doctor who referred. The exam took over 4 hours. A horrible experience.

Thanx for all them years of looking at my Adie's Pupil and teaching me on it....u still record all your notes...Thank You Again
