Dr. Peter Scott Shashy, MD

This review is an apology to Dr. Shashy. I am power of attorney for my uncle. A few weeks ago he had a lengthy stay in the hospital. I was very frustated because there were issues with the medical staff understanding to communicate with me not him about his care. I received a link asking for a review on Dr. Shashy. Out of frustraion I gave him a very negative review because I had never spoiken to him about my uncle's care. On yesterday, I finally had the privelege to interact with Dr. Shashy and I was impressed with his bedside manner. Thorough ecplaination of my uncle's prognosis and our options moving forward with his care. I highly recommend him as a Urologist- Dr. Andrain Yeldell Jones

Dr. Shashy is professional, courteous, and has a great relationship with his patients. Considering why I'm there, the office visits could be excruciatingly uncomfortable. But Dr. Shashy's sense of humor and conversation keeps things at a good level. He's helped me through some tough times...I'd recommend him, as well as his excellent staff, to anyone.

I've been a patient for nearly 25 years and have few complaints. In fact, I have no complaints about his care, bedside manner, those sorts of things, etc. He always spends the appropriate amount of time, explaining things, answering questions, etc. It has always been a long wait, and my major complaint is that since he's expanded his office, he has taken on too many new patients, thus making the wait times even longer.

Dr. Shashy will suggest taking multiple tests, and each test costs a pretty penny. After charging your insurance big bucks, they will hit your pocket book. It would be worth it, if you saw results. But keep in mind, you may end up with an empty wallet and the same symptoms you came in.
