Dr Peter Sun is an amazing Neuro Surgeon. He literally save my daughters life removing a bring tumor in her PF, in a high risk surgery. I thank Dr. Sun every day.

We travelled across the country to have Dr. Sun remove our daughter’s dermoid cyst endoscopically so that she would not have a scar on her face. His team was phenominal, and our daughter’s surgical outcome was beyond better than we ever could have imagined. I still can’t believe how small her incision is and how quickly she recovered from the procedure. It was absolutely worth every penny and effort to travel across the country to see Dr. Sun, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing any pediatric neurosurgical procedure.

Grateful everyday that we were led to Dr.Sun and his team. Attentiveness, quality of care and results have exceeded all expectation. If placed in a position in where we had to do it all over again, 100 percent this is where we would come.

The care team at Children's Oakland is amazing. They welcome you warmly, the care is incredible, and you always have the chance to ask questions. Dr. Sun is a top notch surgeon who cares deeply about protecting the future of his patients. His team of nurse practitioners and nurses are also phenomenal, smart, kind, and helpful.

Dr. Sun and his team are the greatest!!! First of all thanks to all of you. Because of you guys my daughter is doing great. Their team and The Children's Hospital treated us really great. Recently my son underwent surgery ( Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy) Since the operation,recovery has been smooth. My family and I are very grateful for Dr.Sun as well as his team for what he was able to do for our little guy. #Blessed

In 2010 I was diagnosed with a brain AVM. I was 13 years old and would not be here today if it were not for Dr. Sun. I am so lucky and thankful to Dr. Sun and all of the staff members who helped me in the toughest moments of my life. Because of the successful surgery I am now able to live a normal, healthy life that I thought I would never be able to have.

Dr. Sun is amazing. He has taken care of our son since he was 3 months old when he was diagnosed with craniosyastosis. He always took extra time to make sure we had all the facts and support we needed.
