Summary
There is no one-size-fits-all answer in medicine. That is why when I meet with a patient to discuss their neurological issues and treatment, I spend a fair amount of time reviewing and explaining to them what is causing their symptoms. I want to help them to make the best, most educated decision about their care. As a neurosurgeon for more than two decades, I remain fascinated with treatment of brain and spinal issues. It is an area of medicine where we can make dramatic changes in people's lives.
