Dr. Peter Gerold Vanoosten, MD

This man is a loser. We were caught out of town when my 1st son was born and had the misfortune of drawing this clown as our doctor. He was rude, barely capable and all but accused my wife of addicting our son to drugs while she was pregnant which is preposterous. I was not permitted to cut the cord, and he made the whole experience upsetting and not fun and exciting as a new baby should be. Do yourself a favor and use ANYONE else. I would punch him in the face to this day if I saw him.

Dr.VanOosten delivered 2 of my children he was an exceptional Dr and did his job very well.

Do not use him! He treated my pregnant wife very inappropriately. Van Oosten refuses to address legitimate concerns (such as not scheduling an RH test) and if you ask about them, he will stomp out of the room like a young child throwing a tantrum. We asked several developmental questions (we didn't know the answers) to which he told us he couldn't be bothered and mentioned that we should just look things up on the internet instead of expecting him to provide us guidance. When we did, we had a lot of concerns regarding what the internet and many books had stated, and he implied my wife stupid for doing research that he had directed us to do. Incredibly unprofessional, I'm not sure how he still has patients. He's the type of doctor who does it for the title; rather than being passionate about patients, he only seems to be passionate about his ego and paycheck. To anyone looking for an OBGYN, remember, your future daughter or son is a precious individual. Do not trust that… precious individual to an arrogant man who will have no concern for your baby.

Words cannot covey how happy my family and I are with the care Dr. VAnOosten and his staff provide. He is well versed, knowledgeable and extremely passionate about his work and his patients. Dr. V fights on behalf of his patients and ensures we receive the best care possible. There were a few times he had to refer me out to another clinic and when that clinic did not repond with my notes in a timely manner he was very assertive and put pressure to ensure I would be taken care of.

Dr. Van Oosten is wonderful he took care of me thru 4 pregnancys/deliveries amazing Dr.

I was very pleased with the care that I recieved while having surgery. He was very gentle while doing a pelvic. He always answered all of my questions. He even explained and drew pictures for me. I would recommed him to anyone.

Horrible Doctor he did a horrible pelvic exam that was very painful and rough. Never answered questions. Was never in the office. Didnt do any of the tests you are suppose to get in your first trimester would never recommend him!

When I had concerns about a medication he prescribed me, I was told it was the only one that there was and I was playing Russian roulette if I didn't take it. While in the Tucson Emergency care, the Doctor explained that given my medical history I should tell anyone trying to give me that medicine I am allergic to it. The overall care lacked accuracy in my medical charts, and when the pregnancy put me in the ER the doctor visits never changed.
