Dr. Peter Frank Whitington, MD

My son was under Dr. Whitington's care up until he was transplanted a little over 18 months ago. I simply cannot relate to experiences other people have cited w.r.t. their interactions with Dr. Whitington. But, I personally can vouch that our experience with him has been extremely cordial, and his ready wit & humor comes handy to lessen the stress, especially at a time, when parents are literally on the edge, given that their child's illness is of an unimaginable magnitude. His presence is enough to ensure that your child is in the safest hands possible. Cannot thank him enough for guiding us through the most darkest phase in our lives.

An incredibly knowledgeable, somewhat cerebral physician. Warm and fuzzy, he's not. But if you're seeking help for a child with an unusual liver disease, he's your man. Not afraid to admit what he doesn't know, has an extensive network of resources to consult with seeking the best solution to very pressing problems. Very grateful for his help.

Cocky, never listens to anyone's opinion but his own, and prides himself on getting parents thrown out of patients rooms.
