My visit was a follow up and I was very pleased with Dr Wood and the whole experience. Everyone at the clinic was nice and made it a pleasant place to go. It was all very efficient with virtually no waiting.

My surgery was great everyone in the operating theater was professional very courteous enjoyable as well as Dr Wood did a marvelous job first day out my leg is working so well I can't think of enough I would recommend Dr Wood to everyone on the planet

I was referred to him by the doctor on call at the ER. We made the followup and for a $75 co-pay was told no treatment due to inflammation. He never looked at his arm.! So we made another appointment 8 days later...Walked in and he said do you know what is going on...I said I know he broke his distal radius, He said, clearly irritated , what do you do? I told him the truth I am in the field of medicine and anatomy. At the follow up visit I again asked, help me navigate the system. I only get 5 visits a year per family member with a doctor. He had no sympathy and said it will take 5 visits and started to walk out after a 1 minute consult. The truth in testimony is my 10 year old son said, "Can we see someone else? You were just asking questions and he seemed mad!'

This man needs to retire. The first visit was after an ER visit and said I should follow up with the orthopedic physician. I made that appointment for a $75 co-pay. He walked in and said it is too early for a cast due to inflammation. He never looked at his arm. I was referred by the hospital to him due to the doctor on call...They had all of his X-rays and info before we came in. It would have been nice if they said wait until 2 more days for the initial appointment due to 7 days post a a break until a cast due to their protocol.. I simply asked some questions and that clearly made him defensive and uncomfortable due to my knowledge of the body. It is so scary that a doctor would be defensive simply due to some questions on how to navigate the health care system. My son said to me when we left, " can we see someone else..he seems angry."

Dr Wood was recommended by my previous doctor. At my first appointment which I thought was going to be a continuation of my post op follow up evaluations, Dr Wood proceeded to inform me that PT was not working and that I was not going to get better but would get worse. I tried to explain that I had switched PTs because the first one was too aggressive with strength training too soon after surgery due to the work that was done on my knee. I switched PTs at the advice of my doctor who actually did the surgery. So basically I had to start over with physical therapy. Dr Wood ignored this and told me I would probably never be able to do those exercises. He also heavily pushed a steroid shot which my original doctor was against but once again Dr Wood dismissed my concerns. He also did not once discuss the stem cell treatment that my doctor had included in my medical notes that I would be a good candidate for and that my doctor had instructed him on how to do. I came away feeling like I was… not heard and that my medical file had not been reviewed. A knee replacement was advised in the near future for me but I will not give anyone in this practice the privilege of getting my business. It’s disappointing that I was dismissed so easily by someone who did not see the inside of my knee and did not even consult with my PT who would have explained how much I had improved in the less than two months since I had switched to his practice. I have informed my original doctor that this practice that she thought would care for her patients according to her standards had really only wanted to get access to her patients.
