Dr. Peter J Zeale, MD

Dr Zeale is a wonderful doctor who combines compassionate care with a deep knowledge of medicine. He’s very caring and answers all your questions thoughtfully. By this time physicians must be sick of hearing “but I read on the internet that...” but he listens with an open mind and explains why the info is either applicable to your ailment or not. I can say wholeheartedly he is the best GP I’ve ever had...and his admin team is second to none as well!

For the most part, my experience with Dr.Zeale has been excellent.

Extremely Good

Dr. Zeale has been my patient for over 10 years. As a former physician myself I had a very clear sense of the qualities of what a responsible, caring and reliable physician should be. Accordingly, I asked Dr. Zeale to be my primary physician and I have been thoroughly pleased with my decision. Although we are friends, our interactions are strictly professional and I am confident that he does not modify his assessments and recommendations in any way with me. His examinations are remarkably complete and no organ system is spared in terms of its assessment. He is always up to date with current guidelines for all aspects of screening and prophylactic vaccinations so that when he says "I would recommend ------" my response is "Fine, let's do it". The office staff is also top-notch. Whenever I call I am greeted with a warm welcome and if I request to speak with Dr. Zeale, he will always return the call timely unless he is in the process of caring for another patient. In short, it is… difficult to find a physician with all of the favorable qualities that Dr. Zeale possesses.

A HIGH yearly fee........One of the best doctors at the now defunct St. Vincents.....but has now limited his patient load to only those who can pay the exorbitant fee out of pocket. He is well worth it.....but what about those poor people who had come to love & rely on his skills who CANNOT afford to pay now? Heartbreaking if you ask me.......

Dr Zeale is switching his practice of "boutique/concierge" type of medicine, dumping his patients who are not able or willing to pay the $1,800 annual retainer for his services.Hippocrates must be spinning in his grave.
