Dr. Petua Okolo, DO

This doctor is more worried about pleasing the insurance company than giving quality care for her patients. Apparently the insurance company dictates what tests and treatment she can recommend. And she spent most of her time trying to get my social security number (for who knows what) rather than worrying about the severe pain I was in. I am very disappointed with this doctor. What in the world has happened to quality patient care in this country??

This doctor requires a visit for EVERYTHING! Even if you're not sick, but need something signed, need new papers for medical supplies you've used for 20 years, or have an issue with medical equipment breaking. This is all just to bill the insurance. She's always late, and doesn't really seem to listen. I'm pretty sure the only reason she has her patients come in so often, is so that they're exposed to sick people and have to make a return visit. More money from the insurance companies!

Being new to the area and with my husband and I having our share of medical challenges, it was very important for us to find someone we felt we could trust; we found it here!! Dr Okolo was warm, caring and knowledgeable plus the staff are so friendly making your experience great!

Dr. Okolo has worked extensively on her office staff. My family and I have been happy with their performance. 2013-2014 She is not a medicine pusher but desires to treat the entire patient. We have appreciated her.

Prompt, thorough, but seriously- there are tons of doctors out there who pay more attention to the needs and life of the patient that do not charge a large fee for every freaking referral or anything that REQUIRES a signature. This is the first doctor I've met who has charged. Insane, greedy, and a true disgrace. We're definitely going to go elsewhere.

After being seen for over a year I discovered all she does is write referals. She refused to look at open wounds that led to infections that had to be treated by ER. She will pass you off as soon as you start to question the lack of treatment and poor care. Takes at least 5 days to get a prescription refill that you have been on for years (blood pressure meds). Office wait time is as worse than county clinics. Staff is friendly.

I've already reported her to the board, very rude. she should have her license revoked! she has pushed me off for 4 months now. all she does is sit on her butt and take your money! she is not helpful at all. do not waste your time w this lady. WASTE Of TIME and MONEY. she has an excuse for everything, and kept talking over me.
