Dr. Philip Campbell & his entire staff at the Knoxville Surgery Center and the Maryville Office were ALL very professional, courteous, & helpful in explaining each step & procedure in pre- and post-op. Went the extra mile in accommodating schedules. All staff members were very proficient & efficient in their duties, which was very much appreciated.

I saw Dr. Campbell for two years and he was condescending and rude and as time went by he got worse. I originally went to him because of multiple sclerosis and the eye problems that go with that condition. He said he didn't know much about it and shrugged his shoulders. Are you kidding me??!!

Iâ??m one week (left eye) and three weeks (right eye) out from cataract removal and lens replacement performed by Dr. Philip Campbell. Dr. Campbell was cautious in predicting the results of surgery because of my extreme myopia and keratoconus, but my cataracts had progressed to the point of requiring action. Everything about the surgery from pre-op consultation and exams through surgery and post-up consultation and exams was positive. The Eye Surgery Center is staffed by proficient and efficient professionals at every level, and of greatest importance to me, the results of the surgery were spectacular thanks to Dr. Campbellâ??s wise choice of lenses, and precise lens placement. Because my world is suddenly brighter and my vision 20/20 for the first time in my life, bird watching is more rewarding and my house cleaning more thorough! I highly recommend the Eye Surgery Center of East Tennessee. I couldnâ??t be more satisfied with the surgery and its results.

My mother saw Dr. Ed Campbell beginning in the early 60's and I have used his son, Philip since the late 90's. Having experienced several vision difficulties through the years, Dr. Campbell gave the most clear and easy to understand options. LASIK corrected severe nearsightedness in 1997. I had no hesitation or doubt in going with this surgery at Campbell, Cunningham, and Taylor. Cataract removal in 2010 was once again, easy and stress-free with Dr. Campbell and his staff. Must give a shout out to his nurses and support staff who are also top notch. Best doctors and facilities hands down in the Greater Knoxville area.
